Taylor Thai
A new Thai restaurant has finally opened in Erskinsville and it was said that the ex-chef of Spice I am Darlinghurst has been recruited. The location is definitely not packed like Newtown or Darlinghurst, apparently Erskinsville is still quite ‘untouched’ when it comes to food. Sop Konro
Grilled beef ribs soup, another traditional Makassar food. I love sop konro but it’s so fatty and oily. However, I did manage to bring its spices back home to try cooking it!

Firstly, apologies for the sudden disappearance in this blog. I was going back for my holidays to Indonesia and this time round I had to accompany my family to Makassar which is the provincial capital of South Sulawesi.

It was a flawless sunday; sunny but with shades of winter. A perfect day indeed to go out for a roadtrip to Hunter Valley.
