The October Birthdays
My 17th birthday cake. Miki Ojisan No Mise’s fine cheesecake creation with strawberry jam (only the second layer is cake, the rest is icing). Simply magnificent and it is truly the cake of my dreams. I especially loved the peonies on top, I had personally requested for peonies because of my inspiration, Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl.
My father’s 46th birthday cake from Pasadena, given by my mother’s sister as a birthday present. Since my father runs a family corrugated box firm and manufacturing paper, the cake resembled his work. The dollar bills were extra superb decorations. The labels on the boxes shows my dad’s customers. The cake was actually a special diabetic lapis cake.
This one is from Miki Ojisan No Mise and is a Lapis Surabaya cake. This was given to my father from his sisters. I must say, this cake is BEYOND, the workers with the uniforms, my father’s small figurine (and his white hair is visible) and the blackberry and computer on top of the desk.
Overall, the cakes stunned everyone at the party and left wows. I must admit, Miki Ojisan No Mise and Pasadena had done so well.
