Halloween 2011
Tis’ the day of the spooky and ghastly
This year’s Halloween was better compared to 2009’s Halloween party that I had (I didn’t celebrate Halloween in 2010). Although the people who came weren’t as much as in 2009, it was fun and memorable. A private small Halloween party… supported by the warm setting of the venue. The location is at the newly opened Eden Lounge at Planet Hollywood Jakarta.
I wanted to come as Katy Perry but I totally forgot about the blue wig, thus to make up for this, I had my hair done real curly and dolled. I decided that if people asked me what I was I would say to them I am a Californian/summer girl. I found this hair pin made of hair and in the shape of a ribbon, without hesitation I bought it straight away and used it. Then I remembered Lady Gaga, oh crap, my costume was such a wreckage, but oh well.

Californian/Summer girl
My friend Cindy dressed up as Hermione Granger from Gryffindor. Her robe and wand were originally bought from the Harry Potter convention that had raved Harry Potter fans since the sequel had ended.

Hermione Granger
The setting, Eden lounge, is based on the Garden of Eden where Adam and Eve lived. As thought so, the place was just green, ambushed with leaves and it was a pretty small cozy lounge in a shape of a circle.

The food were alright, there was chicken, beef and fish.

Chicken with spinach filling, peas and potato

Pan fried fish

Beef mignon
The chicken was tasty, however the fish was quite tasteless. The beef mignon was tender and juicy. We played charades for hours, acting out on movies like Transformers, The Last Exorcism and Despicable me. In addition, we also had to act out/hum (our choice) songs, which was a lot harder than movies.

I loved the painting on her arms that were supposed to be tattoos, so artistic.

Hermione Granger (another one) & Elf fairy (she forgot her wand lol)

I simply adore this picture, the colour combinations are fantastic!

And the Oscar award goes to…
Yes, outside Eden’s lounge was The Red Carpet with two golden Oscar statues. I did not realise that the Oscar statue was holding a sword till I saw this one.

Overall, I hoped everyone had a spectacular time like I did. Although I just met some of them, it was sure a night full of fun and that’s pretty much because of the people.
